RIALTO PICTURES, the New York-based pioneer in classic film re-releases, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, has signed a 3 year agreement with STUDIOCANAL to handle the U.S. theatrical distribution of over 2,000 international classics owned by the French media giant.

From now on, STUDIOCANAL will handle world distribution rights to all Jacques Tati features, except theatrical in France and festivals, which will be handled directly by Les films de mon Oncle. Preserving masterpieces is a very important part of STUDIOCANAL’s activities, and all of Jacques’s Tati’s 6 long and 6 short movies will be restored.
